Being Able to show the world who you are.

"Being a Negro in America means trying to smile when you want to cry. It means trying to hold on to physical life amid psychological death. It means the pain of watching your children grow up with clouds of inferiority in their mental skies. It means having their legs off, and then being condemned for being a cripple." Where Do We Go From Here 1967.

Walden Trip Reflection

As we indulge this serene and peaceful body of water, I ask myself, how long will this beautiful, marvelous place stay reserved for. How long before people start to undermine its beauty and see it as just a simple waste, well before that happens, if it happens I will try my absolute hardest it enjoys myself, living peaceful, and magically in this time now. Feeling the sense of freedom, ingenuity, and more over simply the peace of mind from being here at Walden, I would like to show my respect for Thoreau for even though he was living here only for a small portion of his life, he tried to embrace his chilled philosophical lifestyle from this very pond. Being here at Walden was very memorable for me because it showed me why Thoreau thought the way that he did, and it showed me why he wanted to live this lifestyle. Because of the quiet, intelligence of Walden pond I felt that I was ready to live my life a little bit simpler, a little bit better, and a lot fuller then my peers in this day and age, worrying about social media, how people feel about you, and other things of the sort; it's all just senseless crap that isn't need to live life happily instead of living day to day miserable at one point, then content at another. Being able to live as you want to being free and simple sounds like a much easier and happier life style then trudging through horrid days one by one trying to find happiness through sad relationships, 9-5 jobs, and all other things that us as modern people stride for. When you bring more simple things and hobbies to your life,it's brings more peace and tranquility to what you are doing, and you feel a true sense of happiness through what you do because your doing what makes you happy through what your love to do.

I love the margins and how you made this look. " Thoreau thought the way that he did, and it showed me why he wanted to live this lifestyle." That is one of the best lines I have read. It is very descriptive.

I like the descriptive words you used in the first line, they kicked it off well. You should have make the picture bigger if you were to do the margins like that because I liked that picture.
